(mods for '97 Outback Sport) help me

help mee

whats up everyone. i need all the help i can get. i have a 1997 impreza outback sport thats asking me to upgrade her. i'd like to start off with some wheels, suspension, and brakes. My problem is she also wants a 02 wrx engine sometime next year when the current starts to die. PLLLEEEASSSSE any info is grateful on which parts are interchangable if i were to buy parts "made" for a 97 will they then fit onto the new 02 set-up(engine, tranny, axles, drivetrain, big brake kits, coilovers, swaybars, etc etc etc.) i think u guys got the idea... any help you guys got for a fellow subbie owner would be awesome.

We just had a fairly informative thread on swapping a ej20t (wrx engine) into an Impreza L, which under the hood is basically the same as your OBS.

As for the easy questions, everything should bolt up with no huge problem. You'll have a bit of wiring to do, but it should physically fit just fine. You'd probably want to get a new transmission too, probably a wrx 5-speed. As for the rest of the stuff, like brakes, coilovers and swaybars, the engine swap shouldn't effect them, so you can buy those now and you won't have to replace them after you swap the ej20t in.
