I recently bid on a JDM Subaru Impreza WRX STI EJ20 96-00 Engine on Ebay listed by J-Spec(they are not the problem). Today I received an email from a guy named "John Iverson" who claims to have a garage in London. His claimed ebay profile(darewalk) hasn't been used in over a year and said he's registered in the US. He said he has an engine, 5-speed tranny, ecu, and wiring harness that have 0 miles on them. He wants a $1700usd wire transfer for the whole shebang, which includes shipping anywhere in the US. This is a screaming deal, but the guy doesn't even have digital camera to take a picture of it. His email is iosuntincucugol@yahoo.com. Has anyone received the same offer or know anything about this guy?
Thanks for the help Ya'll!

if that doesn't work out, I'll trade you all those same things for a set of new tires! No pics either though - and if you give me the tires first, I'll pay shipping!!!!

Gotta be a scam, man.
I've been getting offers through e-mail for similar items a day or two after loosing an auction from ebay. they usually want to do a deal for a cheap price.
I think it's an ongoing scam for lots of things lately and these crooks are probably looking at completed auctions and emailing the losing bidders.

since there is no evidence through an ebay transaction, Im 99.9% sure its a scam
tell them to ship the items to you first, and then you will pay for them :P
