ok guys...im totally new here but heyi wanna put a turbo in my 2.5RS but...i dont htink i could do it....would i have to do a complete swap to the 2.0/2.2 ltr turbo from the WRX or is there an easier route? if i did have to do this...how much would the engine cost me do you think? i emailed subaru asking how much the facotry price would be to do a swap ..but no response yet

dont do an engine swap. you can put turbo kits on the 2.5, and waste stock wrxs.

 

You don't need to do a complete engine swap, there are turbo kits for the 2.5 RS. I have no idea how reliable they are or what performance they provide, but it's much easier than swapping the engine and other parts. A few people on this board have them, they could provide better info than I.

 

ok ...where can i find these turbo kitS???? nee to know price range..also you got anyideas of what boost ill be running? and what horse??? thanx ya
