2.5 Turbo???

I recently bought a 2002 Outback Sport.
It comes with a 2.5L , 165hp in it but more power is definitely needed.
What to do with this motor? So many options and so many junk to put in it, there's the Cold Air Intakes, Short Ram, Catbacks and so on and so forth bla, bla, bla.
Should I start buying the small stuff like the mentioned above or go straight to a Turbo kit for this baby?
Which Turbo is the best for the car and for the buck?
Is it this Turbo project Doable, Possible...

A turbo is a very intrusive way to add power. It can be done, but you'd want to watch other components to make sure they can keep up (transmission, especially). A combination of good CAI and exhaust, along with the standard K&N filter, can boost you 20-25 HP at the crank. Also, depending on how nice your dealer is, it shouldn't void your warranty. That would be my recommendation if you think it'll meet your needs, but if you want mad horsepower, then a turbo is for you.
