To those that have installed a CD Player....
anybody install an aftermarket deck and have troble with getting fm stations?mine aren't the best and all wires hooked up cool.is there a plug in in the trunk?let me know thanks

slvrsti, I installed an alpine head unit and ya I get the same thing with the radio. I think the antenna in the rear window is crap but it could have something to do with the window tint. Doesn't matter, I think I'm gonna go with the Sirius radio thing and I won't need the normal antenna any more.

i went to innovativeaudio in Bellevue WA (http://innovativeaudio.com/)
and they quoted me 3200 FREAKIN DOLLARS for
10inch W6 with custom box(not square normal ugly box)
JL 1000W 4 channel amp
2 JL midrange on frontdoors
2 alpine midranges for the back
that would sound nice
but thats is buttload of money and i aint got that cash to waste on speakers when i need cash to make my STi faster
so maybe i will stay with subaru OEM stuff....

great write-up on the installation on the OEM audio system...
but thats the only thing that pisses me off about the STi....no audio!!!!....oh and toooo much wheelgap
