Question To those that have installed a CD Player....

....In your STi, Did it have any of the wiring needed for the install? I want to put a OEM Subaru CD Player in my STi. Just need an idea of what I'm looking at and what all I have to buy.

Thanks.

No problems, but if you get the upgrade OEM speakers they don't come with the mounting stuff(clips/screws) needed so you'll have to make your own. The tweater upgrades do come with the mounting clips/screws.

Dan is that stuff you already had? If not how much are you paying for it? Just curious because I'm sure you could find some better stuff for the same price.

The only problem with the aftermarket stuff is for the ones that don't come with spacers/brackets, you have to make your own.

Therefore the stock speakers are the most hassle-free speakers to install.

Not yet, but it should be in soon. I have a '03 OEM 6-disk CD Player (That a fellow Hawaii i-cluber gave me for free) and I ordered the OEM Upgraded Speakers, Sub & tweaters. They should be at my house this friday.....

......But I'm having all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled this friday. So I'll need a few days to recover before the install. I'll post up with some pictures and how it went, in about a week.

And no I'm not that Dan.

Well my OEM Speakers, tweaters and sub came a day early so I put them in. It only took about an hour and a 1/2. Here's some pictures.
