STi Insurance ???

All I can suggest is checking out www.amica.com (1 800 24 AMICA). They seem an excellent company to deal with. My STi is costing about $1100 to insure this year (actually $1300 but I get a $200 cut on my other car since I cannot drive both at once). They are even a pleasure to deal with if you are ever unfortunate enough to have to make a claim.
So far as I can tell, from the VIN number they get the engine capacity. You tell them the price and the fact that it has 300 horses kind of gets missed. Long may it remain so.

If that's the case then the quote I got has to top them all, how about $2245 for 6 months due to having a 19 year old in the house? Insurance Co claims vehicle is classified as a sports car.
Anybody need a roommate? The kid has got to go to make way for the STi!!!!!

Yeah I asked my insurance company how much it would cost and lets just put it this way. I said said hi, told him that I was 20 years old, a male, owned a 1969 Camaro and wanted to know if I got a new STi what my insurance would look like? He just laughed (really hard might I add) and I hung up the phone.
