sti early morning clutch shudder

has anyone with an STI experienced the early morning (cold start) clutch shudder \ convultions? Or is that symptom limited to the 02 wrx?

NOT ME :-).......thank God...i had that with my 02 and it drove me crazy...and of course the dealer could "never duplicate".....but winter has not come yet........i suspect it will not be an issue..totally different units

My current '02 shudders like it wants to fall apart. I sure hope the STI I get doesn't do the same. I've also had a tough time convincing the dealers the car actually has an issue.

This is normal for the STI, the flywheel is solid unlike the WRX

Hmm..
I don't know what's going on w/ these shudder thing.
My former GST & current WRX does that early morning (except hot summer). That's why I need to take it easy in the morning.
I owned 4 manual cars before (all overseas)
Toyota Kijang
Mitsu Galant 2.0 V6 DOHC (3000GT engine but 2.0 V6)
Toyota Landcruiser 4.0 Turbo Diesel.
Citroen BX 19 GTi

They all had clutch shudder in the morning, but going fine after it heated up. That's why I was not suprised about this shudder thing on my WRX cause I thought that's just normal for MT.

Hmm, I owned a 1999 Ford Mustang GT and I never got morning shudder from it unless I tried to stall it. I guess its something I'll just have to adapt too and just give it an extra minute or two on warm-up.
