I would like to hear from anyone who has replaced their clutch plate or flywheel because of this known design flaw on recent subarus (I have a 2001 outback). Does replacing any or all of the clutch components cure this problem? I have been reading this forum for a number of months now, and notice numerous complaints about the clutch engagement, and no one is saying that any dealer has fixed the problem. (I have had the same experience). Thanks for listening.

 

Bailey, I have heard this is common among Subarus,my RS does it as well as my friend's WRX,I wouldn't really worry about it unless it does not go away when the car warms up!
