This is the TSB, check the date. I bet it falls in between the time they replaced it and the last time they saw you.

Unhappy

I've had the problem w/ my 99 RS since practically new, I've just lived w/ it. At my 30K check-up I asked them to look at the problem. (sometime in 01') They said they couldn't reproduce the problem but if I wanted the clutch replaced it would cost $1,100 USD including parts. This was documented. Fast forward to this month. I see that there is this TSB so yesterday I call my dealer. I ask them if they remember me having the chatter problem? They have a copy of the reciept and print it out. My service guy said that the Subaru rep will be in this week and they will ask them if they can do the repair. I just had the car in for it's 60K not too long ago so I'm past my Drivetrain warr. I'm hoping I get a call saying they can do it. I have a pretty good relationship with my dealer, having purchased 3 new Subaru's there since 97 and told them (truthfully) I plan on trading in my 99 this summer for a Turbo Forester.

I wonder if I have a leg to stand on since I have the problem documented? Has anyone had the TSB done with 60+K miles?

I'll report back later to tell what they say...
