So the STi is ugly...but so what?
This car is the human equivalant of Carl Lewis NOT Brittney Spears!
Anyone who is heavily influenced by a car's exterior looks, ought to be looking elsewhere.

I think the '04's are a big improvment over the old style, but I still like the old bug-eyed look too. I'd take either, but I prefer the newer design.
Oh, and though I wouldn't call the Enzo ugly, it sure ain't pretty.

i've been wanting a wrx for years.i was just starting to really like the "bug eyes" and fog lights.now i have a 04 sti and i'm still getting use to it.the eariler ones are still great and the new bodystyle is eye catching.evryone should enjoy all and if you want a ride let me know

Subaru makes some damn funky looking cars! They are an acquired taste. What the WRX and the STI come down to for me is this: I want serious performance and I don't want to pay too much for it, Subaru wants to provide me with this performance at this price...... okay, I will look at this oddity in visual appeal and realize that every time I see that unique sculpting of sheetmetal it means something to me.... a drivers car. You want a car that inspires you to drive and like it? It might be controversial in appearance, but hot damn, I will never mistake the ability behind the appearance. I like the car for what it can do, the aesthetics just have to follow. It can blow holes in the atmosphere; and the passion I feel for the performance and price relegate that the form becomes easily recognizable as unique. You can't recognize a WRX or an STI and not instantly realize its purity of performance without its nonconformist styling.
