wrx factory alarm question

hi, i would like to make my factory subaru alarm beep when i turn it on and off. i had a loaner outback and the alarm makes a soft high pitch beep (siren, NOT horn type). how can i get my wrx alarm to do that? thanks b

can't, the subaru upgrade system for the wrx uses the stock horn for it's chirps. you would need to find the wire that triggers the stock horn and disconnect it and reattach it to a relay for an external siren.

do you mean you want the beep when you arm and disarm the alarm? if thats what you mean, just hold the arm, and disarm button at the same time and hold it.
you have the upgraded alarm system right?
