subwoofer options
subwoofer options
Just got an STI and trying to set up a low cost subwoofer option but here is the catch.. I want it to fit under the passanger seat. I know that there is the subaru factory sub.....is it total crap? and if not how hard will it be to hook up to my clarion headunit? Any other real slim design subs that will fin under the seat?

these are 5" subs. they hit very deep and are realy sharp. highly recomend two of them, one under each seat, or both under one.

A sub in the trunk is the best and most cost effective way to go however, the trunk space its self helps the bass resonate and sound like a larger driver. Also sealing the sub in the trunk will alow you to use a cheaper driver (if you realy want to...
) because you won't hear the distortion or cone noise like you would having the sub in your cabin.Mike
