Hey guys, was wondering if some 1 can give some advice. On my STI when locking the doors with the remote , it no longer makes the "Beep Beep" sound. I was thinking this is due to my turbo timer? started about the same time and since its connnected to the ECU it made sense. Any ideas? or did I solve it already? LOL

 

You can turn the chirp on and off, the instructions should be on the back of your remote unless it has worn off. Also the piezo beepers on the 04/05's are known to fail or become intermittent so it could have just gone bad.
You also may have accidentally put the alarm in valet mode, if so the security light will be flashing constantly in a "blink-blink-pause" pattern.
There is no connection between the security module and TT, or the ECU.
