How much room are you willing to use? How much money are you willing to spend?

I would upgrade the factory speakers and buy a 4 channel amp to power them. If you are planning on having a professional shop do your install, they should be able to build you a nice amp rack that can go on the inside trunk lid, this will save some space. Also you could upgrade the sub and have them build you a nice fiberglass sub enclosure. You could also do all of this your self. Having a shop do it could get pricey.
I like Polk speakers my self, but alot of peopel rave about focal speakers. If you like Kenwood there amps are good for the price, and there speakers aren't bad either. You should try to listen to the speakers you are going to buy before you get them, everyones taste is different.
