You need to do a search on here or nasioc, I think there are some instructions. If not you need to check out a service manual.
I think boston tweeters will fit just using the mount and a screw if I remember correctly, I didnt install mines so I forget. I'm not sure about rallys but they probably need a 1/2-3/4" spacer. I believe someone on here a nasioc sells spacers which people have been pretty happy with. Do a search for that too.

Thanks alot... yea i found the site that sells the spacers... and i found the instructions on how to take off the door panels.. after i tooked it off the only place i see to put the crossover in is under the armrest ontop of the white foam.. how should i mount it on the door frame or on the door panel? Do i need to use anything to protect the crossover from water?
I think most people mount it on the door and take out the foam piece. You shouldnt have to worry about water because the plastic sheeting should protect it. You could also look into replacing the plastic sheet with sound dampening sheets. It will improve your sound.

I haven't installed the speakers yet, because i'm waiting for the spacers that i bought from innovative automotive. I did take the door panels off to see what it looks like inside. I think i'm goin to mount the crossover on the door panel. I also trimmed out the round flaps on the back of the door panel where the speakers go to make sure the speaker wont hit that part. Ill post more once i get the spacers
i have eclipse 6.5 front and 5.25 rear in my sti to a stock alpine 9815 headunit great sound

I was installing my boston rally component speakers. I needed to take a positive and negative power wires to hook up to my crossover but when i took off the stock speakers the harness that was plugged into the stock speaker has two wires to each positive and negative. How do i hook up the wires so i can power the crossover? Can i use the wires from the stock tweeteer harness where there is only one positive and negative wire?
Thanks
Thanks
blue i got a subzone box for 119 its a sweet *** box. 1 inch thick mdf and 2 inch thick in front. everywhere else the 12 inch was like 170. the guy sells em on ebay.
i used liquid nail a little on the bottom of carpetand rest used 3m velcro pads on the carpet. then on the bottom of the box in front and back i used long strip of velcro and put it on the carpet and works fine. i might do a l bracket and attach it to the bar that is hangin down on top of the trunk under the rear hatch

Thanks for the reply i've got 2 long strips of velcro on the bottom of the box but everytime i hit a big bump the thing just grabs the carpet up and move all over the place. I think im goin to get brackets also and find somewhere to nail it to. If you did yours with the bracket please let me know how u did it.
Thanks
