Engine feedback
Anybody got any ideas on how to reduce the engine feedback. The whinning is makeing me crazy. Oh yeah I have an alpine cd player run to powered x-over under the seat. that runs to two amps under driver seat that drive my 4 front speakers. Then I run a single amp in the back for my sub.
alright here goes, first off the best thing is that if you use moster cable rca ccables, the second thing is when you run your wires, keep the power wire the as far away from your rcas as posible, you can get rca's with a little remote wire with them, i use it to conect to the power antena line in the back of the radio so it turns on when the radio is on, you can get htese rca's at best buy, but thhey are not in the car audio dept the are over where the tv and home theaters are, this is all i did, for my sterio, and there is no alternator whine what so ever. also the remote line that goes to my ampo for my subs i switched it so i can turn it on and off .
Where is the main power for the radio and amp connected? It should be directly from the battery, and you should have good solid grounds connected at the same grounding point or back to the battery negative terminal.
