security system and turbo timer compatibility

I have a Pivot"built-in" turbo timer installed but I want to be able to use a security system with it, security is now being handeled by a stock Subaru system with remote locking. The problem is that the system will not arm with the motor running. can I bypass this in some way to allow the system to arm? Are there any GOOD aftermarket systems that will work with the timer?

My opinion, get rid of the turbo timer.

You might want to look into a DEI alarm, if you go with lets say the new clifford matrix rsx 3.5 piece, the alarm comes with a turbo timer built in, so you can set the timer for how long you want and set it to arm the alarm right after the timer is done running, it is also a pager so you can tell when someone is messing with your car...DEI also makes viper which is the same thing

I use a Blitz TT with my factory alarm, and it works like a champ. I think I found the instructions to install it on www.scoobymods.com
