how did you secure your box?

This is what I use.

It's basically a little wall...the bottoms have spikes and velcro that hold it to the carpet.

Looks like they are out of stock now...but maybe they'll get more later.

I just used an L bracket and drilled one end of it to the box and the other end to the body..I used 1 on each side of the box, I have 3 12's though...the velcro should work fine with a light box like one for a single 10..

I did the same as blackwrx did. I have 2 JL 12 W3v2's in my trunk in a fatty box. Plus I have a cd changer right next to it so I had to do something that wouldn’t let my box move an inch. So I just got 2 L brackets and some sheet metal screws and bolted that baby through the carpet into the metal of the trunk. That box isn’t going anywhere =).

I was thinking of L brackets too but need to remove sub once a month for SCCA. What do you all think would work ?

its not too hard to take off the L-brackets...just run some bolts through the inside of the box and hook up a coupe of wing nuts to it...that way when u need to take it out all u have to do is unscrew the wingnuts...
