Help! Can't disarm my stock alarm, '02
Hey everybody, here's the deal: my car's been on jackstands for awhile and the battery died. Now when I try to jump start it the stock alarm goes off. I can't disarm it even with new batteries in the remotes. I do have an aftermarket alarm installed but I've had it for over 4 years. In the past, the stock alarm would only go off if the aftermarket was armed with a door still open, when this happened all I had to do was disarm it with the remote for the stock alarm. It's an '02, thanks for the help.

Update. So I unplugged the stock security module by the e brake so I can drive it but now the aftermarket alarm isn't working either, it still locks and unlocks the doors and the siren will sound when the panic button is pushed but I can't set the alarm off when it is supposedly armed.
