Head Unit of Choice? My fav - DD touch screen???

Mine would have to be Kenwood DDX7015 SEE HERE

Anyone have this head unit? I'd like some feedback on the fit, nice and flush with the WRX trim I'd hope.

my buddy has it in his sti- awesome features... although too much for me... i would probably get in an accident trying to figure it out. if u put it in yourself- one word ----DREMEL

that one is cool but Eclipse just put out their new Double Din 6.5" widescreen head unit. it comes w/ navigation and has a pretty sharp screen. behind the screen there are two slots, one for DVD's and one for CD's. ite pretty kick *** and looks clean. there are none of the "Dolby" or "DVD" logos on the headunit.

thats why you have to get in good w/ your local stereo shop. hang out, help around the shop here and there, and prices drop like flies sometimes.

true SQ source unit (Alpine states it is their best to date)

everything you could ever want/need in a source unit becides the LCD flip-out screen.

5 band parametric EQ, DSP, user tunable 6-24db/octave 3 way crossover, XM ready, BBE, phone features, etc, etc.

Umm, yeah the AVN 2454 (Eclipse double din touch w/nav) is retailing at 2300, with a cost of 1265. At my store any way. Try to find a friend of a friend of a friend or somthing. Get hooked up. This unit is deffinatley worth it.

I'll sell the ddx7015 to ya for 1150. It's a breeze to install. 707-546-8585 Cartunes in Santa Rosa CA. We take paypal and fully insure product shippment and give full warranty. This is an i-club hook up. If you want the Double din Eclipse head, I'll sell that to you as well. I am an authorized dealer for both Excelon and Eclipse. Just call. I use the ddx7015 in my STi and it kicks butt. The plastics on the front of the deck are a dead on ***** match to the STi dash panel color. It looks better than the Elipse in the case of the Subaru. The Elcipse has a WAY better picture though. If you are after a better picture and sound quailty, get the Eclipse. But it is gonna cost ya much more. The ddx7015 is the best value for the dough.
