First off which Security system is the best bang for the buck?
just give me your honest opinion and please don't tell me, "you get what you pay for" and "well...that all depends on what you want"
I just want to know a good model that's reputable, not going to give me problems and not going to lighten the wallet too much etc etc. I don't need something that's going to talk to me or tell me the weather and sports scores.
Second, how much (on average) will my insurance expenses drop after getting an alarm system?
thanks in advance, eric

i had a shop install a viper 650 in my wrx. it works great. it can be upgraded to cover your hood ($20) and trunk too. it has a valet mode and and a kill switch that has to be opereated in a particular way to start the car if the alarm is triggered. now they come with a brighter blue led light. a really good place to get the led installed is right next to the hand brake in the blank plug.
