Blitz turbo timer and factory alarm

I have a blitz FATT II turbo timer and for some reason if I set the alarm and let the tt do it's thing, when the engine fan turns on the alarm goes off (starts honking). I followed the instructions when I installed it yet it still does it. If anyone has any ideas on what to do about this let me know. Oh yeah, the alarm will sound if the HVAC is on as well.
thanks

The sensitivity of the built-in shock sensor in the alarm may be set too high, allowing the vibrations from the fans to set it off. Try backing off on the sensitivity control.
