Turbo Timer + Factory Alarm in 04?
Does anybody know what wires to splice and where they are? I got everything to work, I just can't arm and lock my doors until it finishes counting down... which is kind of pointless lol.
Any how, if anybody has an explaination or pictures, that'd be great.

I have written a thread at clubWRX.net that has helped COUNTLESS people with their TT installs. Please read the entire thread before asking any more questions. Good luck:

i remmeber when i did a search for my install like 6 months ago there was a thread that walked u thru it on an 04 ....i believe u can use that....
search for it on scoobymods.com

I have the same problem with my 04 wrx. I have everything installed.....but i just need the alarm to arm itself when i have the car running. The problem with 04's is that the control module in the dash has quite a bit more wires.....for instance two of the green with blk striped ones. BTW i have the Apexi TT.
If you have a vehicle with a factory alarm system,
turbo timer is a major pain in the rear.
If your keyless remote runs out of battery,
you could not shut off the factory alarm
manually until you shut off the TT.
IMO, turbo timer is a waste of money.

Really really easy. Find the keyless entry module under the dash (black box under left side of steering wheel, above fuse panel, lots of wires, says keyless entry box) unbolt that so you can get to the wires, cut the two DARK green with black stripe wires. Cover the ends, put it all back together and you should be good. This is what i did on my Blitz unit.
If you cut the wrong green wires, your lights wont blink when you hit the alarm.
Hope this helps.
EDIT: sorry for the confusion on the color of the wires. I got the instructions off of another post and had them written down. Thing was that post said the wrong color wires. Ive fixed this post now so its the right wires.

I had the place that did my stereo do the TT at the same time. Supposedly its really easy to do though, i got the harness that blitz makes too and thats supposed to make it even easier.
bad pic
Ok, here is a pic of the DARK GREEN wire thats been cut. Sorry that it is a crappy pic
The black box of the alarm was taken out by undoing the 1 10mm nut holding it above the fuse panel
