Would I be Banned if I get the Reflash from....(I cant say)

Well, I did not to put it in the title but I'm actually going to send my ECU to I-speed to have it reflashed... I know alot of people here doesnt like I-speed so I thought I might just get your opinion regarding these... (you know... as a fellow So Cal-nian).

I read through some of the threads regarding motors getting blown-up, or any unprofessionalism... but also, on other forums, they seem to be OK with I-speed.

please post your opinion, before I drive to their shop and have the reflash. (I just thought that I need a second opinion regarding this.

no, but you should be.

If you do, also consider a vasectomy or self castration because procreating would be a crime against humanity.

tell Chris Franco says hi

I have no complaints about their work. If an engine blows it really depends on what you're aiming to acomplish imo

Ed from ISR helpped me put together my car. My 2nd turbo blew up, am I blaming him, no, he let me know about the risks and I agreed with them because it was my pursuit for power.

I like Chris, he's never done me wrong whatsoever. If other people have opinions of him, well this is mine

It's your call, ultimately, man...

All bashing aside, search the posts of those people who had their ECU's tuned by them, then re-tuned by someone else. More power. Safer power.

There are plenty of people who will tune your ECU and you won't have to worry about your motor or being banned, haha.

Take it from me, there is a good reason why people on this board bash I-speed and Crawford. They blow a lot of smoke, many of those people do not have access to dynos and real tuners. They call ispeed get the reflash and are none the wiser. Clueless to the condition of thier motor. Send it someplace where you know you can trust them. Particularly a shop that has corrected many of thier mistakes.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to go to i-speed when there's a lot of other reutable tuners in the area?

well, I figure I just needed reflash for my 2001 NA 2.5 RS. (would it blow up?? its non turbo?)

like I said, I haven't decided if I would really have to go because I'm also considering other options.... i.e PP6 or Pro Racer 4

Operative word "send". That is bad for both parties.
