if i'm at a dealer or with non-car people i would say 2005 subaru impreza wrx wagon. but if they know about subarus, is it wrong/stupid to call it a wrx (not STi) and assume that they would know it's an impreza?

 

looks like the shape is exactly the same

look at the rear glass the small window its the same thing

 

the headlights are a different shape and rear lights too, the regular lance is more rounder than the evolution model.

then it's prabably the same chassis. The evo 9 is running off the same chassis as the evo 7 and 8. The only differences between thoses 3 are the front bumper, grille and hood

hhmmm....the car perform different, the regular lancer is not going to have the same hp or all-wheel drive like the evo. They may run on the same chasis, but they don't drive the same. It's almost like they're two different cars
