ive ran both since i was a kid... i like gas because its loud.. the fumes... and it gets dirty...

 

electric is faster and more practical

 

possibly.. i used to be hard core.. complete breakdown and clean every part ever 3 races. but i do like the 2 speed tranny. i hear some of the dudebro trucks have 3 speed trannies now... damn.

electric has a two speed kit also

 

im not sure. i won it when i was 13. raced it a few times then did a complete breakdown.. cleaned the parts and put it back in the box. its never been opened since then.

when i ran electric i had a 10 turn motor with a novak speed control.. thats prolly slow shiet now

 

i prefer electric since parts are pretty much abundant and you can race in a lot without getting flak from the neighbors... 2 cycles are too noisy for most communities.. Even the 4 cycles are still too noisy... I've never tried the O.S. rotary tho...

i love the sound of gas motors.. haha i even drilled out my exhaust tip for that "extra" power.... installed boost bottles for low end torque. man its great... havent turned it on in over 8 months.

I like this place. It is the closest thing to the track I was familiar with up in Norcal until they closed.
