Thinking about buying laptop.. any guru suggestion?

I'm thinking the same thing, as browsing doesn't require much processing power anyway.
Just in a real quick search I found this...

probably will work fine as a browser, and if you want the better battery life, upgrade the battery.

I have the older core duo macbook with 2gb ram , it seems fast enough for my usage.

i'd go for the monitor, at least 27" or even go for the 30" if wanna gonna compare a mac book to a monitor
