I bought this USB dongle, its pretty neat you can use your universal remote i.e. logitech harmony remote to control the PS3 along with your tv so you don't need to have multiple remotes.

you can't see it but its the most left thtas connected to the PS3 USB slot.

ps3 controller is already wireless why would you need another tv remote to control the ps3?
and what is all the stuff that's plugged in?

can the ps3 controller adjust the volume of your tv?

i got that image from a website conducting a review with other usb dongles that provides an IR function. so those are the other USB dongles that gives IR such as the Nyko IR remote.
