peeps in hk are on 3.5g now unlike here in the crap states we are barely getting into 3g technology.

all i can say is, other than the docomo in japan all their other phones suck! i swear they look like phones you get out of those prepaid packages at best buy.

Well in Japan very few people use phones from nokia, motorola,hp etc. instead phones look very generically produced. HK however, seem to be using the best and the newest phones around. I guess this might have to do with Japan using UMTS rather than GSM like HK

well you either have an outdated phone or the service here sucks. i vote for the latter as both our nokias were kicking *** over in hk. i was even able to stream video while on the metro!
