can you buy the G1 outright without having to sign up for a 2-year?

yea, at full retail -_-.. buy the fuze sell that to lawson then buy the g1 haha... are you just looking to use the andriod os?

att fuze? honestly it's a big upgrade from my tilt.. go play with it you might like it, only thing you gotta do is flash it to a custom rom once you get to take full feature of the phone. main issue with it right now are battery and the gps. i don't mind the battery length since i charge my phone every night. but there's some minor issue with android as well.. like every other phone.

 

fuze is android os...? i thoguht it was wm6?

 

ATT has been teh best for me

nextel had better reception but they are incompitant when it comes to service

oh, what other option with android, none as of now... .. but some of the devs are porting android to other htc products. but duno how stable they are.

 

haha yea. i think i'll just spring for the G1. people are sellign it cheap on CL but i dunno, maybe ill just visit a t-mob store just as long as i can unlock the thing...

 

know what since you're already a tmob customer i don't see why they won't give you unlock code, then you can just swap to att after. if they won't sell it to you w/o contract best buy has'em http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218004381289. duno if you can walk out with it w/o activating it but i know with every other phone you can cept iphone -_-.

 

300-325 on clist though.. pretty temtping. just ask for receipt with it and take mike a long just in case of any trouble.. f it, take the whole lp crew just incase .

 

just an experience of some people on the forum. just gonna depend on who you get.. just keep calling til they give you code to unlock.
