My car got hit on the front drivers side fender while it was parked at school and now I have to get it fixed. I got a quote from a shop by my house that does EXCEPTIONAL work and it totaled to about 800.00. Their paint job comes with a lifetime warranty and all that other good junk but my question is......does the dealer sell stock fenders/body panels?? And if they do how much do you think the front drivers side fender would cost. If its about the same price as the paint job I might as well just by a whole new fender!

800.00 for just the fender? A new fender cost about 160 new.

Subaruparts.com will beat any dealer price (about 137.00) for the fender unless you have a business or are on a race team. I guess you have to pay for the lifetime warranty

 

If there is NO other damage, unbolt the old fender (after you have bought the new one and had it painted per your color code) and bolt in the new one, but only if you have no other damage.
