fender rolling and fender liner
I decided to roll my own fenders and so far so good. 0 cracks but now the fender liner up top doesnt have anything to tuck into. is this normal or should i remove the liner. im afraid it might get caught in the tire somehow..

Put the liners back in unless you want every piece of road grime you drive through in your engine bay. Trust me, I have rolled without a driver's side liner for two winters, and I am still digging drap out of my engine bay. Not to mention it exposes your wiring harness and headlights to water and dirt. I burnt out a headlight relay because of it, and fried my driver's side headlight leveler.
You will also end up with grime in your front door jam, and maybe even your side skirts.
Not to mention the extra road noise.
What you SHOULD do is take your heat gun, heat up the liner, and stretch it until it fits the fender again

in any case ill have to buy two liners first and try to heat and stretch them. drivers one was damaged trying to remove it because i lack patience. thx for the idea!
My cars slammed with no liners. Just a pain in the *** if u ask me, my harness is tucked up on both sides so ill never hit them or rub through. My tubs get washed out every week so they dont get very dirty
