Yeah, we had it top right, then moved the tire rack banner their. I am think of moving the tire rack back to just under it.

Other options for change include making the whole setup cetner justified with the wide colum in the middle more like it was before with the log in colum for left. The main reason we did not do this is because left justified is better to accomodate all resolutions and PDAs

 

On the front page, the Logoff button at the bottom of the page just gives you this..

Also maybe like pi said move the login/log out buttons on top somewhere to the right or something

 

-1 for the left alignment and all the ads. The old layout was much better. You should just add new content to that.

Well, the new content didnt fit into the old layout, and nor did the ads which are necessary. Its really not even extra. Previously, there were two 468x60 ads, now there is one 468x60 and one 520x210. We left off the 120x600 for the side, and tire rack jsut takes the place of the 3 smaller ones that were there. The closest we could get to the old is to move one of the smaller columns to the right, and then it would be the more familiar small, big, small.

Basically we have these elements that have to be here:

The two ads mentioned
Tire rack ad
sponsors list
articles
news
latest threads (soon to be customizeable)
and login

They can all be moved around, but the ad and the login have to stay near top.


I am hearing that the login just be top and either left or right which is no problem. We can make that change. I am still not hearing what else makes it hard to use other than it just being different. We want it to be the best it can be AND included the new stuff that really needs to be there.

If you cant put you finger on what specifically needs to be changed, maybe list the things that are most important to you or other ways of making suggestions as well do listen and make changes accordingly.

 

Would this be a better layout for you guys:

-Move Tire Rack Logo between the PM box and the vendor list (moves login box up)
-Move that entire colum with the to the far left
-Center the menu
