Wire Layout in front doors of '04 WRX with factory tweeters
Hey,
Question for you guys, how does the factory wires come into the front 2 doors? Does it split at the head unit to send power to the tweeters and midrange or does it split internally in the door? I am going to be replacing all my speakers and just want to have an idea what I am getting into before I get a suprise. Any pics or schematics would be very helpful.

don't know the exact wiring, but somebody told me they get the same signal... only the tweeter has a capacitor which filters out the mid and bass.
what i did is (instructed by east coast scooby): unhook the wiring harness on the tweeter, use the wires going into the stock midrange for the new speaker. it works fine.
