What program would you recommend for blocking spam?
Since a lot of you guys work in IT, I was just wondering what free program would you recommend for blocking spam in Outlook? I have a few users complaining of receiving spam in their work email (I guess some people don't understand the difference between work and personal email).
Also, what good (and low-cost) spam packages for Exchange would you recommend?

That and a water crossing.
As far as spam blocking, I don't really know. I don't deal with the email side of things, but if you are using Exchange, I thought Exchange had some built in stuff.

As said above, any vendor at the server level (Postini, Appriver, Red Condor) is your best bet. Beyond that I used "Spambayes" with Outlook. Some ISP's have server side filtering which can also work out pretty well.
Most Bayesian filters are vulnerable to common subject header trickery now though which is why so much spam starts with RE: and will contain your first name if known.
If possible, I like to block mail from all foriegn domains as well (.RU .NZ .KR) etc.
Another option, web mail providers are getting better all the time, I pretty much use Hotmail for most things now. Anything I need to keep I forward to my old school pop3 account.

It sucks that once a work email gets out then that person is pretty much stuck receiving spam unless we buy server/client-side software. Stupid end-users; I hate them (another thing to add to the things you hate thread).

Try Ihatespam.
