One of my sergeants has a Honda Accord and I'm talking to him about beefing it up. He says he's got a little dough and his first priority is suspension. He's thinking about Tein + EDFC.
About his engine, though, he's got an H22 engine that is 200+ HP, and he's able to put down 15.9's at the track (he can't remember, but he says he seems to remember his trap to be a little over 90mph.)
Should he look at a new engine or stay with what he's got? Turbo kit? Maybe bore/stroke the existing engine?
Curious.

Im pretty sure a guy I saw in Vegas had the jackson in his accord. Thought he said it gave him an extra 50-60hp? That sound about right? Not entierly sure, emailed him just now...
jackson racing sucks. overpriced, underpowered. I used to eat supercharged honda's for breakfast with my integra.
if he is serious about making any amount of power, ... tell him to find a turbo kit.

They have some here:

Not sure what the Jacksons cost, these all seem to be about $3400 - $4000.

I have, but also trying to look at 'what else'. (The turbo kit advice is always present, no matter what other suggestions I make to him). I was just wondering which engine he would be best to kit.
you can get the f-max turbo kits in groupbuys once every few months or so, same with the drag kits.
nevermind the bad things you may hear about the drag kits, that was early on in the kits (Generation 1&2), the Gen3 and 4 are much better. I had a Gen 3 kit on my integra, with a stage 3 ball-bearing turbo.
