Exclamation Upcoming Track Days

Here's a list of some upcoming track days with Trackmaster's Racing. Right now it is still free to become a member of Trackmasters. I've been a member for some time, but the 4/15 Thunderhill event is the first one I'll be attending with them. I wanted to spread the word in case anyone else wants to come out. Lowball and I are already signed up.

As a reminder, our favorite track host, UnlimitedLaps.com, will not be having a track event until August. This looks to be one of the better options in the mean time.

Is there a possibility to get an instructor on that day? My only other track experience was in my FWD hatch down at ButtonWillow raceway. I'd really like to learn how AWD reacts when pushed to the limits.

This weekend at Thunderhill with NCRC. Feb 26-27th
10+ Evo's from NorCal Evo will be there. I know Kimbo and Shiv will be attending.
LIC Motorsports will be there with my beast.

Thanks for the link to trackmasters, I forgot to bookmark them a while ago.

Check the site. I believe they have a separate sign-in for novice drivers. I think all novice drivers get an instructor. Thunderhill is a blast!

Not to hijack, but SECCS is also looking to put on another track day at Reno-Fernely Raceway. We're thinking a two day event (one day school, one day open track) probably over a weekend in July (9-10 or 23-24). No real details yet, since we just started talking to the track on Wednesday.

It looks like there should be a bunch of track time all over the west coast this season! Now I just need money for tires, gas, and entry fees!

I have wanted to drive Fernley for some time now. I hear the course will be 4.2 miles soon. I will prolly make this event.

Yeah I was there once when I was still a n00b and was on RE92

You don't need to change exhaust, just don't gas it going pass the sound station, that's what they tell everyone.

LSIR is actaully a good price considering they charge $240 for Thunderhill ...

I don't think so. The dragstrip is less of an undertaking than these other track days. You can go any Wednesday you wish. Track days at road courses take much more planning and moneys.

Since I haven't done this before... is there some checklist or list some sort of track day for n00bz guide somewhere?

You know like here are the tools you should bring or this is what to expect as far as food and all.

A typical track day laid out would be great.
