No brake upgrades yet, and judging by the way they're fading at auto-x, probably need 'em. Any recommendations? I've been looking at some that Subydude is advertising. Can't afford a BBK, so I was thinking rotors, pads, sslines, and fluid. And, it looks like slotted vs. cross-drilled is the way to go. However, I'm wondering if just pads, sslines and fluid would do.

I would recommend the pads, fluid and lines if you have time...which it seems like you may. I went with stoptech lines, motol600 fluid and Axxis Ultimate pads my 1st time around. Not sure if it's still true or not but from what I remember the Ultimate's now come with a sticker saying not for track use. So maybe something else would be better for the front pads. Check with Nate @ S-Squared and he may have some options for you in the pad department.

So now I'm using the Ultimate's for the rear pads and then I have a set of Pagid S4 4.4 Orange (club-sport) and a set of Hawk HT-14 (race pad) for the BBK up front. And then for street I'm back on the Ultimates in the front too.

helmet socks are like putting cheap single ply toilet paper down on the seat of a dirty gas station bathroom...any liquid is going to transfer all the funk instantly to you.
