my G - rattles like a ***** driving on anything other than a freshly paved road. i don't beat on it too hard. i took it to the dealer several times, they keep it for a day or two, put some foam here and there, and it's fixed for about a week.
wife's 4 runner - quiet and solid as the day we bought it and it has 5000 more miles and about 6 off-road treks on it.
i've always been a toyota guy when it comes to trucks and suv's, plus i don't really want a huge beast. i'd prefer the tacoma but the tundra is actually considerably cheaper after the discounts available.

Aren't the Tundra and Titan the same size? Or do you just want the cool fake hoodscoop so you can enjoy memories of the WRX?

good to hear you're not having issues. i don't have anything against the Titan, but i've owned a tacoma in the past and absolutely loved it and the 4-runner has been absolutely trouble free as well.
my preferance would be the tacoma access cab. i feel the tundra is actually too big, but i'm open to a quad cab or a tundra if the pricing is good. the tundra quad cab v8 is actually going for about 2k LESS than the tacoma quad cab v6.
my buddy said he can probably get me a killer deal on a tacoma though.
