No, we're all dried out now. Even my neighbor's flooded yard is dry now.

The streets around here, while dry, are seriously f'd up. Potholes and cracks everywhere!

I'm going to cap off the overflow drain for the pool so if the creek/main drain backs up again it won't back up into the pool. Other than that, I can live with the rest of the puddles in the back. If the fron starts getting bad, I'll take the Titan and go get some sandbags.

It was much worse for the folks downstream. Linda creek in Roseville became a lake and there are a lot of folks with houses with 1-2 feet of water inside. I can't really complain.

One nice thing is that I got to see how the water naturally flows through the property. When I re-landscape the front yard after the garage build-out, I'll know where to build up and where to grade out.

It's not the "yearly" thread.

It's just the first daily thread of the new year.

Why do you ask? Don't you have enough drama in your life already?

Good morning,

The New Year is starting out expensive. I just scored a good deal on Tein Flex's with an EDFC.
Yeah, I know they're not Cusco's or Whitelines, but I wanted to try coilovers out without breaking the bank. And, since the wagon isn't exactly a daily driver, I felt that I could live with the harsher ride while improving my track skills.
Once the new parts are installed and Paul tunes it for the VF-34, etc., I think I'm about done except for some better tires for the summer.
Now, to prepare for the next storm!
Happy New Year, guys.
