Of course! I expect nothing less from a twelve year old that's probably never accomplished anything in life. And how could posting this on a public forum and thread dedicated to Nate's public apology and explanation not cause drama?

You really need a lesson in respect and how to properly identify a situation that will not benefit from your .02 whatsoever. Perhaps your parents in the other room can help you with that?

Thank you(and others) for proving my point in the other threads... You aren't allowed to have an opinion in the SRIC if it doesn't go with the main nut swinger can't make their own opinion group, seriously You guys need to stop swinging the nuts and form your own opinions... You can't honestly think Joe had any ****ing hand in blowing all the motors S-Squared blew, what about Sperry's car... ****ED UP... PBChiefs... ****ed up... Mine... ****ed up... Mark's... ****ed up... Percy's Car.... ****ed up....shall I keep going? Last I checked Joe didn't turn a ****ing WRENCH on ANYTHING on S-Squared's side, so for Nate to run into a corner and completely drop everything when things are at the lowest point to me is what you would call "Childish" I understand where his head is at, but to openly bash Joe, when all he did was lie about the rest of the shops **** ups to save face for himself is ****ing bull****.... You are talking about respect?? How about you man up to your ****ing problems and not blame **** on Joe... The fact is NATE BLEW THOSE MOTORS ALL ON HIS OWN!! JOE DIDN'T TOUCH THEM WITH A 10 FOOT POLL... THANK YOU PLEASE PULL THROUGH

Sorry if this is over the top, an old teacher i was really good friends with when i was in highschool just passed away and i just got word about it...

my favorite part is how you say you're buddy buddy with the guy in one post then completely bash him in another one.

btw, if those other guys wanted to talk **** about how their motors blew, i'm sure they would do it themselves. do you feel compelled to speak on the behalf of others? try that in the workplace, it'll help you get really far.

Not speaking on half of them, just speaking common knowledge. I'm not putting words in their mouth... That is just a lame argument trying to hide the fact that they ****ed up their cars.... If Frank in the work place Broke the Sam's printer... then he walked over and broke Jared's Printer... Then Broke yours... Then Broke someone else's... and you start seeing a pattern that he really isn't experienced to touch printers, normally when you go talk to your boss you will say "You know Frank has broken xxx xxx xxx and xxx printer too, because it let's the person you are telling know this isn't a one time occurrence... Thank you please try again

I'm sorry to hear this.

Maybe you should start a thread about how you miss your teacher so half of SRIC can drag a red herring through it? Give you a taste of your own medicine.

I don’t have time for immature punks anymore so i’ll just do myself a favor and put you on ignore before I do something i’ll regret. When you manage to separate your lips from your mother’s tit you’ll realize what the real world is all about. It will do you some good as well.

Cheers Salty...You're not the only one who feels that way...

I wish Nate the best, I was always treated well by Nate and have a great car to show for his hard work. Hopefully Nate can find time to enjoy cars again soon.

If it was the real world SRIC Style, I would learn not to form my own opinion.. Fall into whatever the "main group" says to do, and basically just be a follower my entire life...

If that is what you want to me see... No thanks

And your Point? If it were anyone else, I might give a ****....
What relevance does that have to this thread and your participation in it? You don't need to justify what an ******* you are, we've all come to accept it as the norm.

LFP,

What was the reason for the motor failures? lean...det...oil..mechanical???

I'm not trying to stir anything I'm just curious for my own benefit.

And if the Big MAF tune was the only problem why was relocating the MAF the solution instead of a proper tune? Again. I just want to know so I can learn everything I can about Subarus. I don't want my car on the list of those that have fallen.

We are thinking what happened since the motor still showed semi signs of hope(low compression not in spec, and a fraction under the proper leak down % don't remember numbers off the top of my head) is that it was tuned to rich(and since Nate told me it was tuned 9.4:1 at one point... It would definitely concur to that idea... and the fuel ate away the rings and knife edged the rings, causing there to still be compression but obviously not gunna be as good of a seal...

When I brought the car in, They had to re tune the entire car, because the MAF settings and tune where just all out of wack, which is why the car lost so much hp when it got hot(40-50whp) when it was tuned better the car would only lose about 10awhp or so... The problem was the Metal MAF Sensor was getting heat soaked and basically messing with the readings causing the car to pull timing, so once we relocated the MAF sensor with a good tune... Car ran like a champ!

No, what i'm trying to say is that Nate clearly apologized to all of you yet you continue to address an older series of complaints everyone here already knows about.

Your opinions existed in another series of threads during a time when S-squared was still in business. S-squared is now completely out of the picture so who are you trying to save from the so-called bad experiences you had? This answer lies in the fact you feed on this type of negative drama. This is how you're ultimately labeling yourself as an attention ***** among SRIC members.

Not to mention you blatantly disregard the weight in Nate's statement regarding the unfortunate event with Jeremy and how it had a negative effect on his vision and work. How dare you! Forget the loss of a father, a brother, a friend, and business partner everyone! What really matters is the fact I lost an engine! A replaceable component of my car. Do you have no heart, sir?

*now you go on ignore*

You take me completely wrong, there is the problem... you really think i give a **** about my motor over the loss of a friend? No... I was responding to YOUR statement, NOT Nate's... I give nate 100% of my sympathy when it comes to his friend and where his head is at now and how it's for the best of him... But the fact of how he openly blamed Joe got to me a little bit, but I bit my tongue, because I also liked Joe as a person. Once you guys started the usual talk **** about anything I say even if it's good*like this thread* I let out what I really felt...

Honestly if you think i care more about my motor then a loss of a friend, you really don't know me at all... Ask the people who really know me, not the internet bull****. They will be the first to tell you that I put other people before myself

LookingForPower, I've seen a number of posts similar to yours by other members when they feel like they are being attacked or insulted by others. We all have an opinion about ourselves but what our friends and families think of us may be completely 180 degrees from people's perception on the internet. What you might consider is that on the internet, all we have are what a person posts by which to judge them. If members see a few posts that strikes them the wrong way, that is going to stick with them for a while. On the internet, people tend to compartmentalize and label folks more than in real life. What you type is who you are in the eyes of many.

You have to decide for yourself when to post and when not to post. This thread wasn't about you. If you're a person that always has to have the last word and come out on top, you'll never feel better having done so. Sure, you can have fun with the members that insult and make fun of you by whoring up the forum - that'll teach 'em! But it doesn't solve anything and you really haven't gained anything of value. If you feel that you have to make every thread in which you post your own, or that your opinion needs to be shouted out loud enough to drown out everyone else's, then the drama will never end.

LFP - so did the compression test results you had say it was within spec of not. You say no here, but clearly on NASIOC the answer was "technically within spec" That would mean your motor was "technically not blown" and perhaps the lower results maybe had to do with proper break-in, in addition to early mods?

Sorry to continue beating the dead horse, I just hear conflicting info. Not looking for an arguement, just a clarification of the test only without a lengthy "it was not my fault" explanation.
