Has anybody heard of depressing the clutch pedal to assist with separation?

 

Have not heard of that. Did you resolve this yet?

 

Finally got it all separated and out. Only took about 12 solid hours but we eventually got it with two massive pry bars and a really thin chisel/putty knife that we were able to shim around until the dowels broke free.

And it only took like 3 to get everything on and put back in. Hoping to drive it tonight!
