Hey all

I'm not too good at intros so I'll keep it brief. Bought an STI, 100% happy with the car. 0% happy with it's condition. Hope some folks here can help me get it into a presentable condition!

Too many things! There's little dents everywhere (not visible at a glance, but there's too many for me to be comfortable with), one of my seat adjustment levers is broken, my clutch is worn, my brakes are squeeling, my tires are bald, my right rear shock is knocking around, there's paint abrasions, the rims have knicks in them (presumably from hitting the curb), and the carpet is dirty! I guess in reality I'm making it sound worse than it is, but I feel bad that it's been allowed to get into this condition...

Welcome! Don't look at it as bad, look at it as a project. The more you fix yourself the more you will be in tune with your car

Welcome, congrats on the Sti. Like burnyou2 said don't look at it as bad things just look at it as a project, work on your car will only enhance you love for it once it is just how you want it.

Congrats! Doesn't sound too extreme. Sounds like normal maintenance. I know how you feel about scratches and dents my car has tons of 'em and I have no money to fix them.

Welcome! Keep an eye out for "dent day" threads in your local area. It is where a bunch of cars get together and a dent wizard gives price breaks because there are so many cars.
