hah.. you would be surprised as I have seen CHP run out of the stations to pull people over that were speeding

 

My additions to the list...

- drivers who stop two car lengths from the line at a stop light
- drivers who constantly jerk forward at a red light, then just sit there when the light turns green
- drivers that have to come to a complete stop to make a right hand turn
- drivers who make a cut to the right when making a left hand turn (usually the same idiot as above)
- the one driver, when you are at a four way stop, who always leans forward and starts to direct traffic over their dash
- the driver who creeps across a multi-lane road, one lane at a time, blocking on coming traffic
- the driver that decides, at the last minute, that they need to be in the only lane

(I feel much better now)

 

Those guys must have been radio ahead to look out. My dad flips out when people go to a crawl coming back from SF passing that weight station.

 

- People who stop when there's a green right turn arrow (the light in The RC at Zinfandel and Olson Dr.).

If the light is red and it's on the right side of your lane (not a dedicated merge lane like in Roseville) then you have to come to a complete stop.

My biggest peave are the cheaters;
Using exit lanes to advance in traffic
Using the shoulder to merge to advance in traffic
Carpool violators
People who cross the solid white line to get in a new lane early (WB80 to biz80 ramp, WBbiz80 arden onramp, NB99 coming up from stockton where a new fastlane appears)
Redlight runners


Oh and old people who drive with their highbeams on.

I also hate when people change lanes while on their cell phones and then half way into the lane change, put their blinker on. This happened to me yesterday and almost caused a bad accident. Then SHE starts yelling at me.

 

 

Exactly. The closest I've got was 1 inch. I had a pic before my comp crashed.

 

People who don't turn their heads over their right shoulder to see what's directly behind them when backing up.

Also, people who leisurely enter the freeway, thereby making big rigs and box vans pull into the center lane, which slows down the entire flow of a three-lane freeway because at the same time some jerk-off is yapping on his/her cell phone while cruising at 65-70mph in the passing lane.

 

- People on Kenneth who accelerate from a stop sign quickly up to 40 mph, who then gradually slow to 30 then 25 mph when the speed limit is 35 mph.
