About a month ago chp lit me up on 80 westbound coming back from tahoe. I was doing about 130(my mom actually told me to punch it lol), but he was nice enough to let me go with a 5 over the limit ticket.

Well its good to know how many Subaru owners have been through this also! Ahaha I've never gotten a traffic ticket, just a talking on the cell phone. But what make me mad is I was literally 2 houses down from my friends to call him and let him know I was outside. That was literally a 5 second call and I pull up to the driveway and I see a bike cop behind me with lights, and I was like wtf did I just do? Ahaha but yeah that cop was a dick and wouldn't even let me off with a warning or anything. So now I'm down like $160 fine and a day at the court.

nice cops? it's a god damn miracle he didn't tow your car for driving like an idiot. What the **** warrants the need to go 130?

He was actually pretty chill about it all. He came up to the window and was like, "nice car, but I know that you know how fast you were going." Then he looked at the passenger which was my mom(was her b-day) and he just shook his head. I'd probably be carless right now if she wasn't with me haha. I have no intentions of going that fast any time soon.

If he never lit you up then you didn't do anything wrong enough to warrant even a warning. Or he was just a nice cop, which is ULTRA RARE these days. He just wanted to intimidate you so you would cool it.

That's happened to me before. After giving me a hard time (they actually stopped me) they let me go, but in this day and age that's becoming a thing of the past.
Most cops now are working for their jobs and will absolutely give you an infraction for anything. My dad got one for like 5 or less over. I'm not making this up. I couldn't believe it.

I never thought id be the guy, but yesterday, coming home from Davis, I was pulling onto I-5 and saw room to gun it. Ended up cutting some dude off pretty close, and almost rear ended the guy in front of me. Since then, I've literally havent went over the limit. I feel like I was put into check by this incident. My car is too fast for me!
