Burning is funny, the first time I was changing my oil my friend decided he'd do it and grabbed on the header as he was unsrewing the oil filter.

Is there a noticeable increase in power or faster spool up with new intercooler hoses?

I didn't not notice the difference, but I've heard and read different dyno tests on the hoses ranging from 5 to 8 hp improvement. If that's the case, it's a decent mod for the money and it works no matter how stock or how modified the car is.

Of course, don't bother to get the hose kit if a front-mount IC is planned for the near future.

so i installed the hoses in my parking lot at work before leaving today why did i do it there? because the car was nice and cool and the wife wasn't around to find out i bought them.

freakin easy. i walked outside at 5:00pm with a 12mm ratchet and a large screwdriver. i was back inside at 5:15pm washing my hands getting ready to leave.

was it worth the cost? i'd say yes. peak power seems to be the same, but who cares anyway. i'd have to check it with deltadash, but according to my boost gauge and tach, i go into positive boost a little earlier and it just feels easier to spool.

You are the hose mast-uh!

Glad the install went so smoothly. It took me a lot longer than that but I just stare at all the parts for a really long time before I begin. I'm convinced that one day I will be able to make the parts install themselves by sheer mind power alone. I tried this on Sunday with my front rotors, pads, brake lines, and fluid, but ended up taking nine hours to install them the hard way. I also tried talking my brother's neighbor's calico to do it for me but she just sat behind me and watched.
