Well there is no way I am pointing anyone back here... :-) And if for some reason CL is alerted to this thread all of the e-mail accounts I am using will get closed, it's just alternate hotmail accounts so no biggie. Yeah, I bet some of these dudes are sitting there hitting F5 and writing in their myspace blogs about the ***** that wont write them back. haha...

Hi, Your ad caught my eye with "I love indie music, films and art." I cut my teeth on classical music. My tastes are European. But when I hear American music that I ordinarily would rather have a root canal than listen to played in an indie in its cultural context; my ear tells me, Yeah, that sounds good. Being a film lover, I know you understand me. I am a film lover (lame statement). When faced with some situations, a relevant line from a movie will play in my head. A lot of folks understand that movies are far more than time killers. There's good meat and potatoes in a whole lot of screen writing. I think we have something to talk about. How about setting up a coffee and conversation at Upper Crust Pizza on the Capitol Mall across the way from the Community Theater at 13th and L -- safe, neutral ground? No, I'm not a young tall Adonis, nor am I an ax-murderer. No, I don't have a digital photo. I'm not yet willing to spend $200-$300, or more, to get one on disk to email. Blame me?
I apologize for saying this, but you ladies kill me. You all want tall young bearded, sometimes Black, and when you get'em, you get stood up ... treated like ****; but you never learn; you keep coming back for more; when there are guys out there that you routinely look right through -- like shadows, but you're smart enough not to try to physically walk through -- who are guys ready, willing and able to meet your needs -- but you have to come down off your high horse and give them a chance. I guarantee you you will get what you want: guys who treat you decently, who listen to you, who are interesting to talk to, who respect you -- and best believe this: who protect you. The last thing a decent, loving, caring guy wants is for his woman to be endangered, threatened. This guy would give his life to nurture you and protect you because he cares for you, yes, in sickness and in health; and who does not want to lose you.

i did get a chance to listen to some music that seemed very middle eastern but some how modern and maybe a bit of a folk slant on it,,i was ammaised to say the least, anyones efforts or accomplishments to be creative is worth my time

I know what it's like being new. I moved here in 2000
from San Francisco, but I've become familiar from
Grass Valley to Elk Grove throughout the Sac region.
Most people notice the blue hair (I just colored it,
it's otherwise reddish-auburn) and they might not
realize that I'm soft-spoken, gentle, and
compassionate. I grew up a nerd and a mod, adoring
Modern Rock, New Wave, Goth, Industrial, and New Age
music. I've never quite fit into any cliques, so I
studied philosophy, world religions, history, and
devolped my love of art and poetry. The few friends I
have are dear to me, and I'm looking for my best
friend and romantic partner in life, someone with whom
I cherish as much as she cherishes me. I'm a Green,
belong the ACLU, marched for peace (and will again in
SF on the 19th), and I value and respect all life and
beliefs. I refuse to believe in anger or negativity,
and I love making people laugh and enjoy life.
I'm 31, 5'8", 190 lbs (don't smoke, eat healthy,
excericise daily), and I've been working at an organic
foods distributer for over two years in the Credits
Dpt. hopeful for a promotion. I've been published, and
I'm working on an art resume of new projects to engage
in the Sacramento art scene.
My hair will eventually return to normal, and I can
always shave my facial hair if desired, since I don't
define myself based on fashion, but on my heart.
