I may or may not be looking for Vista Ultimate edition and a valid corporate key to go with it. I also may or may not be looking for a corporate version of Office 2007.

I don't think corporates get teh ultimate. I could be wrong though.

Amazon is selling 'limited edition' 'autographed' versions of Ultimate upgrade.

LOL redunkulous if you ask me...

How is Vista deployed in the corporate environment? Does a company receive one corporate key that can be used on multiple machines, or do they have to purchase multiple license keys? Is there a corporate key for Ultimate edition?

They get software. They buy a bunch of licenses. The boxes report to the license server on site. The on site license server reports to MS.

There are some hacks that involve using VM Ware as the licesne server. I think the boxes need to re-auth every six months when using volume license keys now.

ya but it was the wrong one. check it.

you sent me that...

This is SOJ's part

It's FE091 in the UK and in Japan it's FE051

That's why that part didn't show up in SOJ's database. He had to do some research.

I may or may not have found a version with a magical time machine built-in which allows you to use the trial until the year 2099.
