I look at i-club as a big, highly dysfunctional family; there's gonna be differences, arguments, and people are gonna get "offended", whatever the **** that means.
But at the end of the day, we're family, and should go around kicking members out of the family for minor transgressions.
And, yes, foul mouthiness, sassiness, dissension, are all minor issues.

Earlier I proposed (in the mod forum) that we enter all words we want banned, including abbreviations if that is what we want in to the swear filter. Then, we moderate only posts where the swear filter is obviously dodged (using special characters, spacing, etc) and if the swear filter doesn't block the word/abbreviation, it's no big. There will still be instances, however, where a post needs moderating, but they'll be less than they are now.

Great, I'm still sitting on these points, for a word that is still not listed by the swear filter, remains in it's original form in it's original context, has it's own dedicated thread, and has since been used almost daily since the points were issued.
